There are so many great photo spots in the Toledo and Northwest Ohio area! I've always wanted to make a post about my personal favorite locations, and it was really tough to narrow it down to just five because we're lucky enough to have amazing spots all around the area. But... here we go with my top 5!
OAK OPENINGS METROPARK
It's so easy to see why this is one of my favorite locations in Northwest Ohio. Oak Openings provides a stunning and satisfyingly symmetrical backdrop to your photos. And if you can catch it on a sunny day, it makes the spot even more magical!
TOLEDO MUSEUM OF ART
We're so lucky to have this gorgeous museum in our area! It's a classic and timeless spot for your wedding photos. The steps are perfect for wedding party shots, and the top step is absolutely amazing for bride and groom portraits!
Side note: We might be a little biased because this is where we got OUR wedding photos taken when we got married!
TOLEDO BOTANICAL GARDENS
We LOVE the botanical gardens because there are so many great photo spots here! There are the gardens, open fields, a stunning tunnel of trees, and a small pond area, just to name a few. This isn't just a great photo location - it's a fun place to have a picnic or just go for a nature walk!

PEARSON PARK
A little further away from Toledo is Pearson Park, and I feel like this location is underrated when it comes to photo locations. It has such a whimsical quality about it, and definitely gives The Notebook vibes with its pond and willow trees. Super romantic!
WILDWOOD METROPARK
Last, but not least, is Wildwood! This Toledo Metropark is a great location. The Manor House provides a classy background to your photos, and the garden area is just magical! Check out more from this engagement session here.
