I’m excited to share Taylor and Logan's love story with you! Their engagement session was absolutely breathtaking at the Toledo Botanical Gardens. The sunset we got that evening was stunning, and they let their love shine through in their photos. We're sure that their wedding in June will be absolute perfection!
We did a little Q&A with Taylor and Logan for this blog post! Check out their sweet love story below.
Lacey Studios: Let's start at the beginning. How did you two first meet? Taylor: We actually went to high school together, but didn't officially meet until I threw a baby shower for my brother. I invited a bunch of his old friends to the party, and Logan came with one of the guests we invited. Then we all went to Loma Linda's Mexican restaurant the next night where we started talking even more and by the end of the night exchanged numbers!
Lacey Studios: What makes your relationship special? What makes your relationship unique?
Taylor: We love spending our free time trying all the local places to eat! We have been into little brewery type places lately to get some fun appetizers and craft beers. When we have extra time together, we love to share our free time with our puppies! We have two dogs we adore and love taking Blade and Bella on walks or just playing with them in our backyard!
Lacey Studios: How did you know your partner was the one?
Taylor: I don't think there is one specific moment in which I thought Logan was the one. I knew from the beginning by the way he made me feel! I always feel most like myself when I am with him!
Logan: I've been through some difficult and stressful times during my career as a police officer. Taylor has been there to have my back and show her support every step of the way and I knew she was the one I didn't want but needed in my corner throughout life.
Lacey Studios: Give us all the details about the proposal. How and where did it happen? Was it a surprise? What was the planning process?
Logan: I had been thinking about how I should do it for a long time at this point, and we decided to plan a trip to Hocking Hills to get away for a weekend. Initially, I wasn't planning on doing it down there, but I did some research and found some pretty incredible waterfalls, so I decided to bring the ring just in case. While we were down there, I found a gorgeous waterfall where I wanted to do it, so I planned a trip later in the evening when it would just be the two of us and hid the ring in my sock.
Lacey Studios: We’re all about the bling… Tell us all about that ring!
Taylor: We love the ring!! We originally picked out the simple solitaire look for the ring! Then we added two diamond bands to the sides of the ring for extra sparkle! The new addition helped us customize it to be everything we wanted! Can't wait to add on the wedding band!!
Lacey Studios: What was your favorite part of your engagement session?
Taylor: I loved everything about the engagement session! You were so amazing and made us feel so comfortable to be able to be ourselves and show who we really are together in the pictures! It was such a great experience, and the photos at sunset turned out beautiful!
Lacey Studios: Tell me what you're most excited about for your upcoming wedding!
Taylor: I'm most excited to finally be able to call Logan my husband! I am so excited to celebrate our love for one another with all of our family and friends. And finally start our lives together as one!
Logan: I think I'm most excited to just celebrate our relationship with all of our close friends and family.
